Good Price, Close to an Amazing Observation Deck

The hotel is located in a quiet, but beautiful district of Paris. It is close to Tour Montparnasse, a skyscraper with an amazing observation deck on its roof. Also many restaurants of different cuisines are nearby. The room was clean and cozy. The price for the room was very good compared to other prices in Paris, and this hotel is definitely an optimal decision for this price.

The mixed reviews make sense. The rooms are extremely small, however that was not the biggest problem. I noticed more and more imperfections each day. Firstly, a lack of attention to detail such as: a lot of mold in the shower (which makes the room smell), a flicker of both lights in the bathroom and you definitely need earplugs to sleep. You can hear everything! This is basic stuff that can be fixed with a little maintenance. Secondly, the mixed reviews about the staff are absolutely true. The first receptionist I encountered was nice, unfortunately I didn't get to see him again. He was later replaced with another receptionist who's attitude sucked. I simply asked him if he could call me a cab as I was finding it difficult to get an Uber and he responded very dismissively saying he did not have any taxi numbers.... The third receptionist I met at 5am when I was coming back from a wedding party, and he had the audacity to later that day comment on it saying "the woman who did not sleep here last night". Safe to say that was offensive and even if that were the case, he had no right to comment on it. I wonder if he would have thought the same of a man... With a change of staff and some maintenance, Moulin Vert could be a good hotel.

Vert Vert noisy ! I couldn't sleep.... and really expansive for thé service. Tout can't imagine thé bathroom. It should ne renovated! Don't go there !!!! A scandale. I'll Nevers go there anymore.......

They canceled our stay a day before check in. I don’t know if they expect us to sleep on the streets but if they have a 48hour cancellation policy they should also follow it rather than make their clients scramble to find another place to stay because they canceled with no explanation whatsoever

Cosy hotel with good location. Metro Pernety is 6 mins walking. Some rooms are equiped with teapot. Grocery shops are 5 min to talk. Bakery is at the same building open from 07:30. A lot of different cafetereia and restaurants are around the corner. 2 small parks in front of hotel.
